The Michael Lauren Trio is not your usual Jazz Band.
This is a Trio that plays a powerful and sophisticated mix of Hard Swinging, Rocking/Funky Jazz.
Led by Veteran New York drummer Michael Lauren, a resident of Portugal for the past 18 years,

Michael has created a trio that plays not “Just Jazz” but “Jazz & Beyond”.

The other two stellar members of this dynamic group are the Portuguese musicians,

guitarist Vasco Agostinho and bassist João Custódio.

The Album “Live at Mobydick Records” was recorded at Mobydick Records Studio 

in Braga Portugal pulled from a live stream concert the Trio did in late June of 2021.

What you hear is what you get! Jazz with an Attitude.
